Whitehaven
Whitehaven is on the western coast of Cumbria. Being outside the Lake District National Park, it is much quieter than other parts of the county, but the surrounding area has much to offer visitors, and a coastal drive down the west coast of Cumbria is highly recommended, especially with stop offs at St Bees and Ravenglass.
