•  Located 8 miles from Stirling near Doune and just 45 minutes from Edinburgh and Glasgow, Deanston Distillery sits by the River Teith at the entrance to the dramatic Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

Deanston Distillery is a converted from a Cotton Mill of 180 years. We are the only distillery in Scotland to produce our own electricity using the water from the River Teith.

Using only traditional methods, allow us to take you through our journey of making handcrafted Scotch Whisky.

Our tours run on the hour every hour, starting from 10am and 4pm being the last tour of the day. It is recommended that you book your tour to avoid disappointment.

A great introduction to Deanston Distillery and our Highland Single Malt Whisky. Through our experienced tour guides, see how we evolved from an 18th century cotton mill to a whisky distillery producing our distinctive Single Malt Whisky which is sweet and fruity with a malty honeyed spiciness on the palate.

The Classic Tour lets you see our distillery team tend to our traditional open mash tun, gleaming copper stills and access to our must see maturation warehouse 2b. In addition to the Deanston Tour, discover more of our un-chill filtered whisky with a second dram of a Deanston expression.
