Arngomery Cottage Charming Scottish Self Catering Cottage Family friendly Pet/Dog Friendly Holiday Cottage for romantic breaks in Kippen Stirling, Stirlingshire, Scotland

Arngomery Cottage has been furnished sympathetically and is spacious and comfortable. It provides self catering holiday accommodation for 4 people and is ideal for families or couples. Outside there is a private terrace and guests are free to enjoy the shared picturesque and tranquil grounds of just over 2 acres.  Larger groups can also book the neighbouring 2 bedroom Stables which also makes up part of the original Coach House and Stables.  

New for 2022 - the bathroom has been fully refurbished and the kitchen living room area are being opened up to create a large kitchen/living/dining area with a log-burning stove. New for 2024 - double glazed windows and doors throughout with new french windows opening onto a new patio.

The cottage is fully central heated and has broadband access throughout.

Although surrounded by parkland and fields, a pleasant 15 minute walk takes you to the pretty village of Kippen with its two good pub/restaurants, local shop and cafe.  

The grounds comprise a large flat lawn to the rear of the property with an embankment rising up to an area of woodland beyond.  In summer months there are cattle in the fields to the front and side of the property. Children will enjoy the shared play area of swings and the large trampoline. In addition to the private table and chairs on the terrace, there are wooden recliners to the side which are for the exclusive use of Arngomery Cottage guests.  Linen, towels, cleaning and 2 baskets of logs are included in the price. One well behaved dog is welcome (additional £30).

Kippen, in Stirlingshire, provides the ideal base to explore the beauty of Scotland. Stirling Castle and the beautiful lochs and mountains of the Trossachs are a twenty minute drive away. In addition, Edinburgh and Glasgow, the Highlands and the east and west coasts are about an hours drive away.
