The general climate is a Continental Mediterranean Climate, meaning there are very warm temperatures and sun in the summer, with frost and snow being common in the winter. This makes Central Spain an excellent choice all year round for various activities and types of holiday.

In summer, the centre of Spain is very warm with lots of sunshine, which makes it perfect for either a relaxed sightseeing holiday, where you could visit Madrid, the capital city of Spain. You could also go walking and cycling in the hills due to the excellent climate. In the winter, the mountains are covered in snow and are perfect for hiking, climbing and skiing among many other activities.
