Historic walled kitchen garden
Traditional high-walled kitchen garden built around 1740. First place that Bonnie Prince Charlie came to when he first landed in Scotland - the owner told him to go back to France. After 100 years of disuse, now used again for growing soft fruit, vegetables, herbs and plants. All grown using organic - soil fed only by seaweed and old-fashioned manure from our nearby croft. Produce for sale varies with seasons and demand, hens eggs from our croft, and preserves, available year-round.
