Edinburgh Festival

Edinburgh is Scotland's beautiful capital, located in the West of Scotland. Edinburgh has a unique natural landscape which houses spectacular architecture. At the top of a once volcanic peak stands Edinburgh Castle that has stunning views of all over the city.

Edinburgh is known throughout the world as the Festival City. During the month of August there are many summer festivals' which present a diverse variety of artists and events. The city doubles in population size during the festival month. During festival period there are many performers giving a taste of their show on The Royal Mile, which runs from Holyrood Palace up to the castle. At the end of the festival everyone gathers in Edinburgh for a spectacular firework display to celebrate the festival.

Stay in Old Town, New Town, or on the city outskirts.
