Dungarthill House, by Dunkeld, Perthshire, is an elegant, private, Victorian self catering country house set in its own charming landscape on the Highland fringe. Ideal accommodation for a large get together, the house can host up to a maximum of 23 people across 11 bedrooms and is open to be booked all year round.

The house boasts a large living room, a tv snug and a billiards room, as well as a formal and an informal dining room. There's plenty of space for all to get together and a large kitchen equipped with 2 dishwashers, 2 fridges, an electric hob and oven and a large aga range - all with adjacent utility room and pantry for all the necessities. 

The outdoor space includes two lawns, an outdoor seating area, benches dotted throughout the grounds, the mile long driveway and the historic ‘curling pond’ which is now a hub for wildlife and plants including playing host to otters from time to time. There is a scurry of red squirrels occupying the historic woodland that surrounds the house.

Dungarthill House is the ideal self-catering holiday base for exploring Perthshire and beyond with local activities ranging from fishing, walking and golfing – to canyoning and water sports. You can spot pheasants, buzzards, jays, red kites, herons, as well as all the favourite garden birds right from the windows. We are ideally placed to visit the Loch of the Lowes visitor centre which is not only a hub for all wildlife, it is Scotland’s longest-standing osprey viewing location.
