The village of Ardgour is known as the gateway of the Ardmurchan Peninsula, a popular location for walkers and climbers wishing to explore its beautiful hills. The village sits on the edge of Loch Linnhe and has a shop and a hotel serving delicious food. Fort William can be reached by crossing on the Corran ferry, which ploughs regularly across the narrows of Loch Linnhe, or by road. This is an area ideal for exploring unspoilt Scotland and seeing a variety of wildlife such as otters, seals and red deer in their natural habitat.
