River Ken Cottage is a very well equipped/high standard real log cabin only a few meters from River Ken in the Galloway Hills.  Stunning location near the Southern Upland Way. Great cycling on your doorstep. Great for bird watching. Central location for exploring sw scotland. Close to Galloway's "Dark Skies" at Loch Doon and Drumlanrig Castle.

Surroundings and nature is unsurpassed. The River Ken runs a few meters from the house and  you can enjoy fantastic views to the hills with daily opportunity to spot red and roe deer.

The house has a good size kitchen/dining and living room in one, bathroom, hallway and bedroom. Outside you will find a nice roofed terrace with furniture and gas barbeque. All rooms with good size storage.

The kitchen is furnished with 2 ring electric hob, all-in-one oven, kettle, toaster, under counter fridge and all you need to prepare a proper holiday meal. Dining table and chairs for 4 people and plates and cutlery for six – so no need for washing up all the time!

Sitting area includes 2 seater sofa, armchair, table, Free-view tv, dvd player and various board games and DVD’s. Brochures from the area and various books are available. There is access to the terrace from the living room.

In the entrance you find a chest freezer.

Bathroom is equipped with shower and electric towel rail.
