The Bothy at Stonelaws Farm near North Berwick

The Bothy is a charming large one bedroom detached cottage set on a quiet farm , with enclosed front terrace and private enclosed south facing garden, perfect for a quiet holiday for couples. Dogs welcome by arrangement. . Set in a stunning rural location, yet only 4 miles from North Berwick and the lovely beaches and coastline. The cottage is based in a lovely traditional 18th century heart of the farm and has been upgraded to a high standard whilst retaining many of the original features. There are easy off road walks on the doorstep. Nearby North Berwick offers a huge variety of activities, including The Fringe by The Sea in August, excellent restaurants, golfing, coffee shops or just general relaxation. The cottage is ideally placed to explore East Lothian, the Borders or a trip to Edinburgh.

The cottage is are an ideal base to explore lovely East Lothian, visit Edinburgh (35 minutes by car or train) or to use as base to explore the whole of Scotland, as many of our overseas visitors have done.

The Bothy

All ground floor level the cottage is a traditional detached cottage with large sitting room (wood burning stove) with dining area, and one large bedroom with king-size and single bed. Large walk-in shower room and well equipped kitchen.

Wi-fi, logs for the stove provided. The cottage has an enclosed terrace garden to the front and charming south facing cottage garden . Sleeps maximum of 3. It has one step to enter , thereafter all on one level. South facing outside sitting area , with five steps down into garden. There is plenty storage on the farm for bikes and other outdoor equipment. Well behaved dogs welcome by arrangement.
