White Horse Farm Holiday Cottages are situated in the hamlet of Middlemarsh, near Sherborne, in the heart of rural Dorset’s glorious unspoilt countryside.
We offer five accommodations set in 2 acres of gardens, a large duck pond and paddock. The cottages are set in miles of rural Dorset’s countryside, offering fishing, dog walking, cycling, golf and many other outdoor activities. Pets are welcome (up to 2 no extra charge). We have a fully equipped recreation room with table fottball, a large collection of DVD's to borrow, loads of books for young and older, outdoor table tennis table, indoor & outdoor games and much more!
Our Barbeque cabin has proved very popular to enable all weather family get togethers in Finnish style comfort.
Accommodation – our properties sleep 2 - 8 (up to 18)
The four barn cottages (sleep 2 to 4) have been tastefully converted and retain many of their former features such as exposed stone walls and exposed beams, providing comfortable value for money 3 star accommodation.
"Otters Holt our lodge cabin is 4 stars and is a Wessex built Milbourne cabin with three bed rooms and provides self-catering accommodation for six people (8 with the use of a quality sofa bed in the lounge). There is decked balcony, its own secluded garden, a large lounge and a well fitted out kitchen.
Local Area
Situated close to Cerne Abbas village famous for its 180’ Giant (chalk figure), the ancient abbey town of Sherborne and the historic market town of Dorchester. Coastal attractions within easy reach include Lulworth Cove, Weymouth and Lyme Regis. Many good local inns are nearby, one within 150 yards.
