Welcome to Newhouse Farm Cottages

We have nine family friendly 4 star self catering holiday cottages set in a beautiful rural location in Devon, with excellent facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool with counter-current jets, sauna, 9-hole crazy golf, fishing lake and outdoor children's play areas all set within 30 acres of tranquil Devonshire countryside. We also have an indoor games room with pool, table tennis and table football and a toddler's soft play room. Free WiFi is available throughout the whole complex. The cottages provide the perfect holiday location for couples, families, large groups, retreats and dogs too!

For large groups our function room, The Hayloft, is available for guests to eat, meet and party in as well as a Scandinavian Barbecue Lodge which offers a warm and cosy space to enjoy a barbecue whatever the weather.

The cottages are ideally placed close to both the Dartmoor and Exmoor national parks as well as the North and East Devon coasts with their many beaches. Should you feel a little more adventurous then golf, horse riding, tennis, fly fishing, quad bikes and go-carts are all within easy reach. In fact, Newhouse Farm is ideally situated for exploring the whole of Devon.

Cedar Cottage (sleeps 2)
Cedar has a king bedroom with en-suite bathroom and open plan kitchen/dining/living room

Oak Cottage (sleeps 2)
Oak has a king bedroom with en-suite bathroom and open plan dining/living room with separate kitchen

Larch Cottage (sleeps 4)
Larch has a king and twin room with spacious open plan kitchen/dining/living room with wood burner

Beech Cottage (sleeps 4)
Beech has a double and twin room with spacious open plan kitchen/dining/living room with wood burner

Trotters (sleeps 6)
A detached barn with a king, double and twin bedroom all en-suite. The large kitchen/dining room overlooks the orchard as does the lounge which has a wood burner and Sky TV (movies and sports channels)

Rowan Cottage (sleeps 6)
Rowan has a double and two twin bedrooms; open plan kitchen/dining/living room with wood burner

Willow Cottage (sleeps 6)
Willow has a double and two twin bedrooms; open plan kitchen/dining/living room with wood burner

Elm Barn (sleeps 11)
A large detached barn with two king, one double, one twin and one family room; spacious kitchen; separate dining room; living room with wood burner and Sky TV (movies and sports channels)

In the centre of the Devon Heartland and set amidst unspoilt countryside Newhouse Farm offers a sense of incomparable peace and unrivalled tranquillity from the moment you arrive. It is an enchanting region of the county with many wooded valleys associated with the path of the Little Dart River, and some of the most spectacular scenery.

Whatever the season, visitors can relax in the midst of 30 acres of flower-filled meadows and woodland. Footpaths wind steeply down to the river and lake, offering quiet corners and picnic spots. The land is not actively farmed and thus free from pesticides and artificial fertilisers and has an abundance of wildlife - including the resident badgers, barn owls and red deer.
