Opening Hours:
Each course is one or 2 days. Each workshop will run from 10a.m. to 4 p.m. with a one hour break for lunch. The studio will be open during dinner for those wishing to continue, or you may prefer to refresh yourself with a walk in our fields. Enjoy a day or two in delightful surroundings in Scotland, concentrating on learning a new skill, or developing an existing interest, and return home
Anyone with an interest in stitch, textures, colours or textiles will enjoy a workshop at Burnbrae. Our workshops are generally suitable for complete beginners in a particular technique through to those with years of experience. Groups are small, some as small as 6, others up to 12, depending on subject matter. Tutors are able to give individuals all the attention they need and other participants are always willing to give assistance and constructive comments. We find that participants form a cohesive group. This is encouraged by a lunch break away from the studio for a light meal around our dining table and perhaps a few minutes chatting in the adjacent conservatory or a wander in the garden.
