The original hm bark Endeavour was built in 1768 in Whitby, and would carry Captain Cook to South America, Tahiti and New Zealand on his round-the-world voyage of discovery.

A 40%-scaled authentic replica stands in the water of Whitby harbour, built in the same traditional manner by local craftsmen, ready to take visitors on a voyage around the pictureque Whitby coastline and its wildlife on one of its regular sailings throughout the year.

Visitors will enjoy views of the town of Whitby and its twin piers, the North Yorkshire coastline and beachfront towards Sandsend and Raithwaite, while listening to traditional sea shanties and reliving Cook's life at sea.
