This manor house belongs to the author, Catherine Broughton, and is situated barely 4 kms from sandy beaches, about half an hour's drive south of La Rochelle. There are 8 bedrooms, 4 bath/shower rooms and 5 WCs.  The property is suitable for 12 people, with an extra 2 accepted at a supplement and by prior arrangement.  Huge private grounds, all walled in and safe for children.  Private pool, fenced with a gate that locks, solar heated.  All the rooms are spacious, properly equipped and kitted out, full CH throughout, satellite tv, wiFi, possibility of a maid and/or cook and/or babysitter who speaks English.  Dogs sometimes accepted by prior arrangement only and at a small supplement.
