The Old Croft House has been lovingly restored to provide a peaceful retreat in this beautiful part of Skye. The cottage sleeps 4 people. With wonderful sea views and a rocky beach a short walk away. Wood burning stove. Dogs very welcome.

Welcome to our Holiday Cottage on the Isle of Skye

The Old Croft House is set in an amazing location, enjoying fantastic sea views of the island of Eigg and back to Knoydart on the mainland. Surrounded by open countryside, there is a small rocky beach just a few minutes walk away from the house & a beautiful sandy bay an hours walk from the village.

The cottage sleeps 4 people and the accommodation has a cosy Living Room & well equipped Kitchen/Dining room on the ground floor. There is one double bedroom and one twin bedroom and a bathroom on the first floor. The garden is fully enclosed and suitable for dogs and children (both welcome!) Weekly rate includes bedding, towels and logs & kindling for the wood burning stove. The cottage is nice and warm, as it’s well insulated and also has electric heaters, but many guests love to use the wood burner for added cosiness!

The village of Ardvasar is 3 miles away with a shop, hotel/bar, petrol station with the very well stocked Armadale Stores & local crafts at the pier. Other facilities include TV (& dvd player) & bluetooth speakers. The bath has a good shower over it. We generally have good wifi at the cottage, but due to our remote location, it can be a little temperamental!

A cot and highchair are available if required.

The cottage is strictly a no smoking zone.

We welcome well behaved dogs (up to 2) by prior arrangement.

Situated in Aird, on the Sleat Peninsula, known as the 'Garden of Skye' which is the most southerly tip of this beautiful island. This part of Skye is very green and less rugged, but equally as beautiful as the north of the island.
