In the South of France in the Fitou area, at 25 km from the Mediterranean beahes. On an organic wine processing domain, luxury 4 star B&B with pool, 1 gite for 4 people with outside jacuzzi and 1 house for 12 people with private pool.
The house of local stone built for a Master Vigneron in the 19th century has been renovated but the majority of the original details have been preserved: the ironwork balconies, which were part of the Château of Cascastel, the tiled floors and mosaics, friezes, arched windows and stained glass.
Our B&B has four guest rooms which have received the category of '4 epis' or 4 stars in recognition of the comfort, the high standard of the renovation and the quality of the activities offered. You can stay for one night or many nights throughout the year. The House has a large private pool.
It is also possible to rent all the Family mansion for up for 14 people on a self catering basis. We also have two independant gîtes to rent (one for 4 people and one for 12 people).
Our Location
Our House lies just above the minute wine producing village of Cascastel which is situated in the Fitou area of Southern France. This is in the region known popularly as Cathar country. It is 25 kilometres from the Mediterranean and the beaches, 30 kilometres south of Narbonne, 40 kilometres north of Perpignan and 40 kilometres south east of Carcassonne. The nearest town with facilities is Durban des Corbières, 6 kilometres from Cascastel, on the D611.
