Carmarthenshire area is a county in the South West of Wales. Llanelli is the largest town in the county but Carmarthen is the county town, due to its central location. Carmarthenshire is known as the ‘Garden of Wales’ due to its fertile land and its agricultural produce. Carmarthen has its own market, open six days a weeks allowing you to buy and sample local produce.
The market has antiques, cafes, barbers, engraver and all sorts of other goods on display. Carmarthenshire county is made up of upland and mountainous land which make it idea for outdoor recreational activities such as horse riding, hill walking, mountain biking, quad biking etc. The south coast contains many small fishing villages and sandy beaches. The Carmarthenshire area is rich in history therefore there are many historic attractions such as castles, ruins and gardens.
